Heavy rain in Beijing's Miyun district has flooded villages.
Last night, heavy rain in the northwest of Miyun, Beijing triggered floods and landslides, causing damage to multiple villages. The most severely affected area is Fengjiayu Town, where roads, electricity, and communication are interrupted in some villages. A reporter saw in Banchengzi Village, not far from Fengjiayu Town, about 20 kilometers away, the river water flowing rapidly and many trees fallen on the main road. After establishing contact with Fengjiayu Town using maritime satellites, a task force composed of firefighters marched on foot. Currently, the affected residents have been evacuated and relocated. By after 1 am, the peak of the flood has passed, and the water level is gradually beginning to recede.
