According to the Baoding Meteorological Bureau, the extreme heavy rainfall in Fuping County has broken historical precipitation records. Based on data from national, regional, and hydrological monitoring stations, from 5 pm on July 25th to 1 am on July 26th, the average rainfall in Fuping County was 140.5 mm, with the highest rainfall recorded in Xizhuang at 532 mm. The maximum hourly rainfall intensity of 145 mm was also recorded in Xizhuang, surpassing the local historical record for hourly rainfall intensity.
