As of 8:00 PM on July 26, 10 rivers nationwide have experienced floodwaters above the warning level.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, as of 8:00 on July 26th, affected by rainfall and upstream water inflow, the Red River and Dahei River in Inner Mongolia, as well as their tributaries Xiahei River and Tuli Gen River, the Mayi Tu River tributary of the Luan River in Hebei, the Nanyang River tributary of the Yongding River in Shanxi, the Mulanda River tributary of the Songhua River in Heilongjiang, the Heihui River tributary of the Lancang River in Yunnan, and the Tarim River and Yarkant River in Xinjiang, a total of 10 rivers are still exceeding their warning and protection levels, with the Dahei River in Inner Mongolia exceeding the protection level, and the water level of the Mayi Tu River in Hebei exceeding historical levels. Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources has maintained a level IV emergency response for flood defense in the six provinces and regions of Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Shaanxi.
