SAIC Zhiji Automobile and SAIC Youdao Zhitu were granted the latest batch of intelligent connected vehicle demonstration operation licenses in Shanghai.

The 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference with the theme of "Intelligence Era, Joint Efforts with the Ball" opened in Shanghai on July 26. SAIC's Zhiji Automobile and SAIC's Youdao Zhitu were both awarded the latest batch of intelligent connected vehicle demonstration operation licenses in Shanghai, making SAIC Group the only enterprise in the industry to obtain "dual licenses" in the passenger and commercial vehicle sectors. The landing of the latest batch of intelligent connected vehicle demonstration operation licenses will further promote the large-scale commercial application of L4-level autonomous driving technology, and China has taken another positive step in the global competition for the commercialization of autonomous driving. It is understood that SAIC's Zhiji Robotaxi has accumulated over 300,000 orders, with automatic driving trips totaling millions of kilometers. SAIC's Youdao Zhitu focuses on industry-leading full-stack self-developed intelligent driving technology, and the commercial operation volume of intelligent heavy trucks at Yangshan Port has exceeded 500,000 standard containers.
