France announced that the transitional government of Syria and the Kurdish armed groups will hold talks in Paris.

On the 25th local time, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that French Foreign Minister Baro had held talks with Mazlum Abdi, the commander of the Syrian Kurdish armed group, the Syrian Democratic Forces, on the same day to discuss advancing the political transition process in Syria. Prior to this, the French side had communicated with the head of the Syrian Foreign Ministry and the US Special Envoy for Syria. France confirmed that the Syrian Transitional Government and the Syrian Democratic Forces will hold a new round of negotiations in Paris in the near future to implement the agreement signed by both sides on March 10 of this year. France and the United States will participate as the main mediators in the process. French Foreign Minister Baro reiterated in a statement that France supports seeking a unified and peaceful solution to the Syrian conflict through negotiations.
