According to the Securities Times APP, the State Council Information Office held a series of themed press conferences on the morning of July 24th at 10 o'clock to discuss the "High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan". The Director of the National Medical Security Administration, Zhang Ke, was invited to introduce the deepening of medical insurance reform during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and the relevant situation of serving economic and social development, and answer questions from journalists. Zhang Ke said that recently, people have been paying more attention to the reform of the "dual catalog" of medical insurance, and a new commercial health insurance innovative drug catalog has been established. This is one of the solid measures of medical insurance to support pharmaceutical innovation. As of now, more than 100 drugs have applied for inclusion in the innovative drug catalog, and we will continue with the follow-up work according to the procedures. In terms of opening up, the United Nations has given high praise for China's achievements in universal health insurance. In the presence of the State Council leaders, we signed a cooperation agreement with the World Health Organization, striving to share the experience of China's unique health insurance system with the world and support the internationalization of China's pharmaceutical industry. We encourage relevant regions to explore the establishment of a global drug trading platform for Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and other countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, to help Chinese pharmaceutical products better enter the global market.
