India has resumed issuing tourist visas to Chinese citizens starting from July 24th, and there has been a sudden increase in flight ticket searches.

The Indian Embassy in China released a Weibo post announcing that starting from July 24, 2025, Chinese citizens can apply for tourist visas to visit India. Data from Qunar Index shows that the search volume for flights to Delhi, India on the platform has surged, reaching more than 10 times at its peak. Among them, the highest search volume is for flights from Hong Kong to Delhi, with an average price including tax of 862 yuan. According to data from Ctrip's visa platform, the number of business visas issued for India has seen a 63% year-on-year increase so far this year. Prior to this, both tourist and business visas for India saw positive year-on-year growth in 2019.
