Chongqing: The city's total regional GDP in the first half of the year reached 1,5929.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%.

The Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics released data showing that according to the unified accounting of regional gross domestic product, the city achieved a regional gross domestic product of 1.5929.58 trillion yuan in the first half of the year, a 5.0% increase compared to the same period last year. Among them, the value added of the primary industry reached 71.482 billion yuan, an increase of 3.1% year-on-year; the value added of the secondary industry reached 555.575 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year; and the value added of the tertiary industry reached 965.901 billion yuan, an increase of 5.6% year-on-year.
