Deputy Minister of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, Chen Jiachang, visited Tajikistan.

In order to implement the spirit of the Central Peripheral Work Conference and the Second China-Central Asia Summit, and deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan in the new era, at the invitation of the Tajikistan Academy of Sciences, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Chen Jiachang visited Tajikistan from July 20th to 22nd, 2025. On July 21st, Vice Minister Chen Jiachang and President of the Tajik Academy of Sciences Kushvakhzod jointly chaired the fourth meeting of the China-Tajikistan Science and Technology Cooperation Committee. Both sides comprehensively reviewed the cooperation results since the third meeting, and reached consensus on deepening scientific and cultural exchanges, strengthening joint research and development projects, and expanding cooperation in key areas for the next steps.
