New York gold futures rose 1%, returning to above $3440, and New York copper rose more than 2%.
On Tuesday in New York, spot gold rose by 0.94%, closing at $3428.98 per ounce. It continued to fluctuate below the $3400 mark until 21:00 Beijing time, starting a sustained uptrend at 20:00. It entered a continuous high-level horizontal consolidation state before 00:00 and refreshed the daily high to $3433.52 at 01:04. COMEX gold futures rose by 1.02%, closing at $3441.10 per ounce, with a trading range of $3394.900-3447.50 within the day. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up by 2.66% at 217.56 points. Spot silver rose by 0.91%, closing at $39.2843 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures rose by 0.82%, closing at $39.655 per ounce. COMEX copper futures rose by 2.09%, closing at $5.7555 per pound. After falling to $5.5750 and refreshing the daily high at 12:43, it continued to rise and approached the July 8th high of $5.8955. Spot platinum fell by 0.39%, closing at $1444.99 per ounce; spot palladium rose by 1.51%, closing at $1280.53 per ounce.
