Trump: Reached trade agreement with Indonesia
Trump announced on social media: I am honored to announce that we have reached a trade agreement with the Republic of Indonesia, represented by its respected President Prabowo Subianto. Both sides have agreed that Indonesia will open its market to American industrial and technological products and agricultural products, eliminating 99% of tariff barriers. The United States can now sell American-made products to Indonesia with zero tariffs, while all products exported from Indonesia to the United States - the best market in the world - will be subject to a 19% tariff. In addition, Indonesia will supply its valuable critical minerals to the United States and sign major agreements worth billions of dollars to purchase Boeing aircraft, U.S. agricultural products, and U.S. energy. This agreement is a huge victory for our automotive manufacturers, technology companies, workers, farmers, ranchers, and manufacturers.
