In the first half of the year, Shaanxi's GDP grew by 5.5% year-on-year.

The Statistics Bureau of Shaanxi Province released data showing that in the first half of the year, the province's regional GDP reached 1.6828 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.5% at constant prices. Looking at the three industries separately, the value added of the primary industry was 78.227 billion yuan, an increase of 2.9% year-on-year; the value added of the secondary industry was 680.707 billion yuan, a growth of 6.4%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 923.867 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1%.
