The Central Meteorological Observatory has issued a blue typhoon warning.

The China Meteorological Administration issued a blue typhoon warning at 10:00 on July 22. The center of the sixth typhoon of the year, "Wipa", made landfall again on the coast of Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam at around 9:30 this morning. The maximum wind near the center was 10 on the Beaufort scale, and the minimum central pressure was 980 hPa. At 10 o'clock in the morning, "Wipa" weakened to a tropical storm level within the territory of Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam, with the center located at 20.4 degrees north latitude and 106.5 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind near the center was 9 on the Beaufort scale, and the minimum central pressure was 980 hPa. It is expected that "Wipa" will continue to move in a west-southwest direction at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in strength.
