Proactively responding to market changes, leading film and television companies are seeking to expand their ecosystem.

In late July, several domestic high-quality films were released one after another, starting the competition for box office. On July 21st, "The Lychee in Chang'an" and "White Snake 2: Green Snake" ranked first and second in single-day box office respectively. "The Lychee in Chang'an" received a score of 7.7 on Douban; "White Snake 2: Green Snake" received a high score of 8.6 on Douban, not only surpassing the 8.0 score of its predecessor "White Snake," but also becoming the highest-scoring domestic animated film of the year and the highest-scoring domestic film in the current summer box office season. However, high reputation did not effectively boost box office growth. The Lighthouse Professional Edition predicts that the highest box office of "White Snake 2: Green Snake" may be 324 million yuan, while the highest box office of "The Lychee in Chang'an" may be 721 million yuan. Compared with other domestic new films released after the 2025 Spring Festival season, the performance of these two films may already be at the forefront, but compared with top films in the same period in previous years, the current box office growth rate is still slow.
