Affected by the outer periphery of the 6th typhoon "Vipa" this year, the southward flow in the central and southern parts of Fujian, and the eastward flow in the northern part have strengthened, leading to heavy rains and torrential rains in many areas of Fujian Province. According to the instructions of the Flood Prevention and Drought Relief Command of the People's Government of Fuqing City, Dongzhang Reservoir will start to discharge floodwater from 21:00 on July 21. Downstream towns, streets, and relevant units are requested to carry out related guarantee work.
