The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly held a symposium on the new energy vehicle industry on the 18th, deploying further efforts to regulate the competition order of the new energy vehicle industry. The meeting called for further progress in product price monitoring, product consistency supervision and inspection, and shortening of supplier payment terms, as well as conducting special rectification of online chaos, product quality supervision sampling and defect investigation; further improving policy measures, strengthening the construction of a unified national large market, promoting the quality upgrading of the automobile industry, establishing a mechanism for communication and consultation with enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry, actively listening to issues, suggestions and demands feedback. The meeting also proposed accelerating the introduction of standards for new energy vehicle energy consumption limits, battery recycling and safety, guiding enterprises to deepen technological innovation; leveraging the role of industry associations, advocating for legal, fair, honest, fair and orderly industry competition, jointly resisting online chaos such as 'internet water army' and 'black PR'.
