The Chief of Staff of the Sudanese Armed Forces has requested that all combat units withdraw completely from the capital region.

On July 18th local time, Sudan's Sovereignty Council Chairman and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Burhan issued an order requiring all combat units belonging to the Sudanese Armed Forces and other armed groups to withdraw from Khartoum State, where the capital Khartoum is located, within two weeks.
