Chinese motorcycle company APSONIC signs cooperation agreement with the Confederation of African Football, will sponsor the 35th and 36th editions of the Africa Cup of Nations.

On July 18, the motorcycle company brand APSONIC from the Greater Bay Area officially signed a cooperation agreement with the African Football Confederation in Guangzhou. According to the agreement, APSONIC will become the official strategic partner for the 35th African Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco in 2025, as well as the 36th African Cup of Nations jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania in 2027. Secretary General of the African Football Confederation, Veron Mosengo-Omba, stated at the signing ceremony that in recent years, the number of spectators at the Africa Cup has been increasing, and the value of the event has significantly improved, thanks to the active participation of Chinese companies. With football as a link, cultural exchanges and commercial cooperation between China and Africa are becoming increasingly close, and Chinese companies are gradually becoming an important force in promoting the development of African football.
