From July 17th to 18th, the Chair country of the G20, South Africa, held the third G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Durban this year. Deputy Minister of Finance Liao Min attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liao Min stated that all parties should respect the law of economic development, uphold multilateralism and free trade, embrace inclusive and sustainable economic globalization, promote a more stable complex world economic system, and support global economic recovery and growth. Liao Min also introduced the stable and progressive development trend of the Chinese economy, which brings stability to global economic growth. He emphasized that the internal and external balance of the Chinese economy is good, with the proportion of domestic consumption in GDP steadily increasing and the ratio of the current account trade surplus to around 2%, the internationally recognized balanced level. In the second half of this year, a more active fiscal policy will be implemented and high-level opening-up measures will be expanded.
