According to the weather department forecast, as Typhoon "Weipa" approaches, Fujian province will experience significant wind and rain. From tonight to daytime on the 19th, the maximum wind force in the coastal areas of central and southern Fujian will be level 8-9, with gusts up to level 10. From the 19th to the 21st, most parts of the province will experience showers or thunderstorms. To prepare for the typhoon, Fujian Province Emergency Response Office initiated a level IV emergency response at 11:00 on July 18th. For the safety of ships, Fujian Maritime Bureau initiated a level IV typhoon response starting from 11:00 on the 18th. Due to the influence of the typhoon, the Xiamen-Jinmen, Quanzhou-Jinmen, Liangma, and Huangma "small three links" passenger ferry routes will temporarily suspend operations tomorrow.
