The General Office of the People's Government of Chongqing Municipality issued the "Measures to Boost Consumption in Chongqing Municipality." The "Measures" mention guiding financial institutions to reasonably reduce commercial individual housing loan interest rates, optimizing the method for determining the number of individual housing units, and supporting consumption of improved housing. From May 30, 2025 to December 31, 2025, for those who purchase new commercial housing in the central urban area of our city and sell existing housing in the central urban area within one year, a subsidy of 1% of the total housing payment for the new purchase will be given. For new purchases of commercial housing in the central urban area of our city with a single building area of 140 square meters or more, a subsidy of 0.5% of the total housing payment will be given.
