The National Internet Information Office has issued a notice on the submission of information by personal information protection officers. According to Article 52 of the Personal Information Protection Law and Article 12 of the Management Measures for Compliance Audits of Personal Information Protection, personal information processors who handle personal information of more than one million people should submit the information of the personal information protection officer to the municipal-level Internet information department in the area where they are located.
