Uber Alliance accelerates the commercialization of Robotaxi, core suppliers such as Speed Glory may significantly benefit.
On July 17, travel giant Uber teamed up with Lucid and Nuro, planning to deploy over 20,000 L4 level autonomous driving taxis in the next 6 years, marking a key turning point from technology verification to large-scale operation for Robotaxi. Market reaction verifies the arrival of an industry inflection point: Lucid's stock price surged 36% in a single day, marking its largest increase in two and a half years, with its market value returning to $9.5 billion. As a long-term supplier of LiDAR for Lucid, Speedtech Juchuang has become the core provider of perception hardware for this tripartite cooperation. Its products have been tested and verified in the new generation of vehicles for Robotaxi companies such as Nuro, Baidu, Pony.ai, WeRide, Momenta, etc. The expansion of the Uber Alliance will directly drive Speedtech Juchuang to accelerate shipments in the Robotaxi market. CICC predicts that the global Robotaxi market size will reach $2.44 trillion by 2030, becoming the most certain commercial scenario for advanced autonomous driving. It is worth mentioning that Speedtech Juchuang has global capabilities, having obtained designated orders from 26 car manufacturers for 84 models, and securing orders from 8 leading car manufacturers overseas. Its long-range digital LiDAR platform adapted for L3/L4 has also been designated for 17 models by 5 car manufacturers. Combined with Uber Alliance pressing the fast-forward button on the commercialization of Robotaxi, it has opened up tremendous value growth space for Speedtech Juchuang, which has already deeply deployed in the market, with its market share expected to further increase.
