The first integrated project of connecting green electricity directly to the source network load storage in a data center has been launched in Inner Mongolia.
Reporters learned from the Autonomous Region Energy Bureau that recently, the Ulanqab Zhongjin Data Low-Carbon Calculation Power Base's Source Network Load Storage Integration Project was officially put into operation, marking the completion of the first domestic data center green electricity direct connection source network. It is reported that the project conforms to the overall development concept of national green electricity direct connection, relying on the electricity load of the Ulanqab Cha'er High-tech Development Zone computing power center, using the integrated "source network load storage" model, through the coordinated operation of wind and solar power generation, intelligent power transmission, grid direct supply, and energy storage peak shaving systems, to achieve direct energy supply connection between clean energy and data centers. The new energy station is located in Chaoyouqian Banner, Ulanqab City, with a total installed capacity of 300,000 kilowatts, including 200,000 kilowatts of wind power and 100,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power.
