London stock market rose on the 17th.

In terms of individual stocks, industrial stocks led the way among the constituent stocks of the London Stock Exchange that day, with the top five stocks in terms of percentage increase being: industrial supplies distributor Diploma's stock price rose by 6.44%, Whitbread's stock price rose by 3.21%, international equipment leasing company Ashtead Group's stock price rose by 3.12%, asset management company Intermediate Capital Group's stock price rose by 3.03%, and investment company Melrose Industries' stock price rose by 2.92%.
