Private Fund Association: The size of private equity funds at the end of June was 20.26 trillion yuan.

Data released by the China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association on July 17th showed that as of the end of June 2025, there were 19,756 private fund managers, managing 140,558 funds with a total scale of 20.26 trillion yuan. Among them, there were 7,761 private securities investment fund managers; 11,801 private equity and venture capital fund managers; 6 private asset allocation fund managers; and 188 other private investment fund managers. There were 83,356 existing private securities investment funds with a total scale of 5.56 trillion yuan; 30,201 existing private equity investment funds with a total scale of 10.95 trillion yuan; and 26,144 existing venture capital funds with a total scale of 3.41 trillion yuan. There were 1,540 newly registered private funds with a total scale of 500.57 billion yuan.
