Three people died in a mudslide accident in Menyuan County, Qinghai Province, and two people are still missing.

On July 15th at around 10:20 PM, there was heavy rainfall in Menyuan County, Qinghai Province. A debris flow disaster occurred in Dalonggou area of Xianmi Township in the county, resulting in the deaths of 3 people by the 16th. During subsequent search and rescue operations, 2 more individuals were found missing. Currently, emergency response, on-site search and rescue, post-disaster disposal, comforting of the families of the deceased, and the restoration of production and life for the masses are all being carried out in an orderly manner in the whole county. Nearly 1300 people, over 280 vehicles, and 97 large machinery units have been mobilized for disaster relief and rescue work. More than 1200 tourists have been persuaded to leave the area, and 1140 households totaling 3755 people have been urgently relocated. A total of 1600 kilometers of roads and 213 kilometers of river channels have been inspected.
