Indonesia expands safeguard measures on imported cotton textiles to cover a wider range of products.

According to the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on July 16, 2025, the WTO Safeguards Committee released a notification submitted by the Indonesian delegation stating that, in response to an application submitted by the Indonesian Textile Association on July 1, 2025, the Indonesian Safeguards Committee will add 4 Indonesian tariff codes to the products involved in the import of cotton textiles safeguards case, namely 5208.51.10, 5209.59.10, 5212.15.10, and 5212.25.10.
