In June, Jiangsu's Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 0.3% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Jiangsu Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, in June, the consumer price index of Jiangsu residents decreased by 0.3% year-on-year. Among them, prices in urban areas fell by 0.2%, while prices in rural areas fell by 0.5%. Food prices rose by 0.3%, while non-food prices fell by 0.4%. Consumer goods prices fell by 0.5%, while service prices rose by 0.1%. From January to June, the consumer price index of residents in the province decreased by 0.5% year-on-year. Looking at the year-on-year changes in consumer prices, in June, pork prices fell by 10.6%, and egg prices fell by 10.6%.
