Liang Xinxin, Director of the Strategic Planning Department of the State Intellectual Property Office, said at the "High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" series of press conferences held by the State Council Information Office on July 17 that as of June this year, China's high-value invention patents per 10,000 people has reached 15.3, surpassing the target of 12 set in the 14th Five-Year Plan; the number of effective invention patents in China's strategic emerging industries has reached 1.472 million, which is 2.2 times that of the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan.
