The State Administration of Cultural Heritage recently issued a notice on regulating the management of borrowing first-level cultural relics owned by the state. The notice emphasizes that various levels of cultural heritage administrative departments and cultural relic collecting units should deeply understand the importance, scarcity, and non-renewability of first-level cultural relics, and prioritize the safety of cultural relics. First-level cultural relics with poor preservation conditions and those that are easily damaged in transportation packaging shall not be lent out.
