Guizhou, Shaanxi, Ningxia, and Xinjiang express delivery business volume increased by over 35% year-on-year, with the western region accelerating its entry into the "package delivery area."
The State Post Bureau announced yesterday that in the first half of this year, the postal industry's volume of express delivery services in China increased by 16.9% year-on-year. In particular, the revenue and volume of express delivery services in the central and western regions of China have continued to grow rapidly, especially in Guizhou, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Xinjiang and other western regions, which have accelerated their entry into the ranks of "free delivery areas." Zhu Li, deputy director of the Industrial Economic Research Department of the Development Research Center of the State Post Bureau, stated that the proportion of express delivery volume in the central and western regions of China has increased by 1.4% compared to the same period last year. The volume of express delivery services in Guizhou, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Xinjiang, and other regions has increased by over 35% year-on-year.
