The Shanghai Futures Exchange has implemented trading limits for polysilicon futures and adjusted the trading limits of the industrial silicon futures contract SI2509.

Guangzhou Futures Exchange: After research, it was decided that starting from July 21, 2025, non-futures company members or clients are not allowed to open more than 10,000 contracts per day on each contract of polysilicon futures. Non-futures company members or clients are not allowed to open more than 5,000 contracts per day on the industrial silicon futures SI2509 contract.
