A reporter asked: The 8th Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum was recently held in Zhejiang, please introduce the relevant situation and achievements of the forum? Spokesperson Chen Binhua said that from July 10th to 15th, the 8th Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum was held in Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua and other places in Zhejiang. The forum had about 1,000 participants, including over 700 young people from Taiwan. With the theme of "Cross-Strait Inheritance and Youth Power," the forum included an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, Taiwanese youth representatives learning from mainland intangible cultural heritage masters, Zhejiang-Taiwan youth exchange season, and the "Straits Cup" cross-strait elite baseball game between schools. Youth from both sides also participated in theme study camps in various places in Zhejiang. Zhejiang used the Youth Forum as a platform to build exchanges and cooperation with young people from Taiwan, continuously deepen cooperation in the fields of education, arts, and culture, and introduce policies to support young people from Taiwan in starting businesses and finding employment in Zhejiang.
