Around 3:30pm every afternoon, a bus labeled as route 503 will depart from Nanjing Liuhe North Station and head towards the Drum Tower Bus Terminal in the main city area of Nanjing. Different from other buses, route 503 not only carries passengers, but also transports goods. Route 503 has always been an important direct route from Nanjing Liuhe District to the main city area, operating daily between Liuhe North Station and Drum Tower Bus Terminal, passing through over 60 stops. Starting from May 1st this year, route 503 has taken on a new task: delivering agricultural products and fresh food from Liuhe to the Nanjing city area. Through the innovative model of "bus + express delivery," parcels that would normally take until the next day to arrive can now be delivered to the main city area within two to two and a half hours, reaching consumers on the same day. This special "city express delivery line" is launched by Nanjing Public Transport Group in collaboration with SF Express. According to incomplete statistics from reporters, SF Express is expanding the cooperation model of "express delivery + bus" to more cities, including Xi'an, Wuhan, Lanzhou, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, etc.
