The Central Urban Work Conference was held in Beijing on July 14-15. The conference pointed out that China's urbanization is shifting from a period of rapid growth to a stage of stable development, and urban development is transitioning from a phase of large-scale expansion to a focus on improving quality and efficiency. Urban work needs to deeply understand and actively adapt to changes in the situation, transform the concept of urban development to be more people-oriented; transform the urban development mode to be more intensive and efficient; transform urban development momentum to focus more on characteristic development; change the focus of urban work to emphasize governance input; change the methods of urban work to focus more on overall coordination.
