The second trial of the criminal group led by Chen Xianqing, the former chairman of Sanya Haiyun Group, has been announced.

On July 15, the Hainan Provincial Higher People's Court announced the verdict of the second trial of the criminal gang case of the appellant units Sanya Haiyun Group Co., Ltd., Lingshui Haiyun Investment Development Co., Ltd., and the appellant Chen Xianqing. The Hainan Provincial Higher People's Court upheld the fines imposed by the Intermediate People's Court of Haikou on the appellant units Sanya Haiyun Group Co., Ltd. and Lingshui Haiyun Investment Development Co., Ltd., sentenced the appellant Chen Xianqing to life imprisonment, deprived of political rights for life, and confiscated all personal property. For the other appellants and original defendants, their sentences were revised or upheld based on their individual criminal circumstances.
