The finance and central bank governors meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries will be held in Beijing in 2025.

On June 3, 2025, the meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries was held in Beijing in a combined online and offline format. The meeting mainly discussed macroeconomic situation and policies, as well as financial cooperation within the SCO. Minister of Finance Ln F'n and Governor of the People's Bank of China Pn Gngshng co-chaired the meeting. The participants had in-depth discussions on global and regional economic and financial trends and challenges, and shared policy practices in fiscal and monetary policies, green transformation, and financial development. All parties supported taking actions to deepen regional financial cooperation, made substantial progress in establishing the SCO Development Bank, agreed to establish an SCO financial think tank network, and discussed topics such as improving local currency settlement arrangements and deepening cooperation in digital inclusive finance.
