According to the Zhixin Financial APP, on June 5th, the Logistics Performance Index (LPI) for China in May 2025 released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing was 50.6%, a decrease of 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous month. The overall business volume index has continued to expand for several months. In terms of regions, the business volume index for all three major regions is in the expansion range, with the Central and Western regions showing higher business volume indexes than the national average at 51.1% and 52.8% respectively. The business volume index for the Eastern region has slightly increased by 0.1 percentage point, showing some signs of recovery, but external impacts on the logistics industry are still ongoing, with the business volume index remaining below the national level.
