According to the news from the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, recently, with the approval of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision launched a disciplinary investigation into Wang Liming, former party secretary and director of the management committee of the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, for serious violations of discipline and laws. After investigation, it was found that Wang Liming had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original intentions and missions, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, and resisted organizational inspections. He ignored the spirit of the Central Committee's eight-point provisions, accepted gifts, and used vehicles from management service objects. He violated organizational principles by being responsible for the issue of promoting sick cadres. He lost his moral bottom line by accepting gifts, used his position for personal gain in project contracting, and illegally accepted large amounts of money. Wang Liming seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and life discipline, and constituted a serious violation of duty and is suspected of bribery crimes. Furthermore, he did not restrain himself nor stop his actions after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, with serious nature and bad influence, he should be dealt with strictly. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Disciplinary Measures of the Communist Party of China", the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Administrative Sanctions Law of Public Officials of the People's Republic of China", after discussion at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision and approval by the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, it was decided to expel Wang Liming from the Party; cancel his benefits as required by regulations; confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violations of discipline and law; and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution, along with the related property.
