In pre-market trading on Monday, Tesla led the "Big Seven" stocks and US stock index futures lower. Global trade tensions and geopolitical uncertainties weakened market risk appetite. Performance of the "Big Seven": Tesla fell 2.1%, Google parent company Alphabet rose 1.3%, while Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft all fell by less than 1%. S&P 500 index and Nasdaq 100 index futures both declined by around 0.5%. Bloomberg's "Big Seven" index (a cap-weighted index tracking the seven stocks) has fallen by 4.3% year-to-date, after soaring 67% in 2024.
