The recently released "Implementation Rules for Road Testing and Demonstration Applications of Intelligent Connected Vehicles in Hunan Xiangjiang New Area" optimize the approval process, support the landing of innovative application scenarios, reduce the burden for enterprises, improve efficiency, and promote the large-scale demonstration operation of intelligent connected vehicles in Xiangjiang New Area, injecting new momentum into the development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry in Changsha. With the release of this policy, Xiangjiang New Area has quickly taken action, issuing the second batch of 86 functional unmanned vehicle road testing and demonstration application codes, bringing the total number of codes to 121. At the same time, Xiangjiang Intelligent's Zhixin Yuntu has signed a cooperation agreement with NineSense Intelligence to carry out in-depth cooperation in various aspects and accelerate the landing of unmanned vehicle application scenarios. The "Implementation Rules" have made significant breakthroughs in the qualification approval process, providing efficient and convenient services for enterprises. The relevant person in charge of the Xiangjiang New Area Science, Technology, Innovation, and Industry Promotion Bureau introduced that this policy further supports autonomous driving taxis to carry out advanced autonomous driving applications in a remote driving manner based on the policies of Changsha City, as well as innovative applications such as unmanned delivery and unmanned retail. In the future, Xiangjiang New Area plans to attract more than 100 intelligent connected vehicle companies to settle in within 3 years, helping Changsha to build a first-class intelligent connected industry cluster in the country.
