Sichuan Puge's Qiyang Photovoltaic Power Station has been connected to the grid and put into operation, with an estimated annual average power generation of 350 million kilowatt-hours.
Sichuan Energy Development Group's subsidiary Chuantou New Energy recently announced that the Puge Qiyang Photovoltaic Power Station located in Rido Disa Town, Puge County, Liangshan Prefecture, was connected to the grid and put into operation. This is the first centralized mountain photovoltaic project to be connected to the grid and put into operation since the establishment of Sichuan Energy Development Group. The Puge Qiyang Photovoltaic Power Station plans to have an installed capacity of 210,000 kilowatts. From breaking ground in October 2024 to connecting to the grid and generating the first electricity at 6:44 am on May 30th, it only took 8 months. It is estimated that after the project is put into operation, the annual average electricity generation will reach 350 million kilowatt-hours.
