Wang Yi meets with Mauritanian Foreign Minister Malouk

According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the evening of May 30, 2025, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Mauritanian Foreign Minister Malouzec at a ceremony in Hong Kong to sign the International Mediation Court Convention. Wang Yi said that it is a common desire of all countries to resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiation, which is an important background for the establishment of the International Mediation Court. Mediation based on the voluntary participation of all parties is beneficial for developing countries, especially small and medium-sized countries, to better safeguard their legitimate interests.
