The National Development and Reform Commission recently issued a notice on further reducing credit information service fees, clearly stating that the service fees will be significantly reduced. According to the notice, starting from July 1st, the standard service fee for commercial banks and other institutions to query corporate credit reports will be reduced from 20 yuan per report to 9 yuan, and the standard service fee for querying personal credit reports will be reduced from 2 yuan to 1 yuan. The registration fee for accounts receivable pledge will be reduced from 30 yuan per item per year to 15 yuan, and the fee for registration changes and objections will be reduced from 10 yuan per item per time to 5 yuan. Ten categories of financial institutions, such as rural commercial banks, will continue to enjoy preferential fees for querying corporate and personal credit reports, and domestic insurance underwriting institutions will be included in the preferential scope. Individuals can now access their own credit reports for free online, and the first two times per year at a bank counter will also be free, with a reduced fee of 5 yuan starting from the third time. The reduction in credit information service fees is expected to save users approximately 1.1 billion yuan in costs annually.
