The National Forestry and Grassland Fire Prevention Office has deployed and organized fire prevention and control during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday and the forest and grassland fire prevention work in the Daxinganling forest area.

On May 30th, the National Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention Office held a video conference. The meeting pointed out that in some areas of North China, Northeast China, and other regions, extreme weather such as high temperatures, strong winds, thunderstorms, and severe convective weather are frequent, and there have been multiple lightning fires in the Great Xing'an Mountains forest area. Furthermore, with the increase in the number of people entering the mountains and forests during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the combination of unfavorable factors has increased the risk of fires. The meeting emphasized the need to further refine relevant elements in accordance with the "Emergency Plan for Forest and Grassland Fires in the Great Xing'an Mountains Forest Area", carry out targeted training and drills, deploy "command, forces, equipment" in advance, and achieve "early detection, quick disposal, prevention of re-ignition, and ensuring safety". Efforts should be accelerated to implement the "Construction Plan for Fire Prevention and Control Facilities in the Great Xing'an Mountains Forest Area", adhere to prioritizing key areas, implement in a classified manner, clarify the main responsibility of project construction, establish and improve supervision and management mechanisms, and enhance the technological content of system governance. All levels and departments should leverage their functional advantages, strengthen coordination and cooperation, form a collaborative effort with "national coordination, local responsibilities, and departmental coordination", effectively implement various aspects of system governance work, and fully win the battle to prevent and control lightning fires in the new round.
