On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the symposium "Continuing the Spirit of Science and Fortifying the Nation's Journey" was held in Beijing on the afternoon of the 30th. Ding Xuexiang, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
