Wencan Group: The new factory in Chongqing is expected to start trial production in the second half of the year and has secured the first customer order for magnesium alloy products.

Tang Jiexiong, Chairman and General Manager of Wencan Holdings, stated at the annual performance briefing for the year 2024 and the first quarter of 2025 held this afternoon that the new factories in Chongqing, Anhui, and Guangdong are under construction in an orderly manner. The Chongqing factory is mainly for supporting the Sailesi Automobile and is expected to start trial production in the second half of the year. The company has already secured the first customer for its magnesium alloy products and will further develop new product series for automotive lightweighting based on the research and development of magnesium alloy products and customer needs.
