Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: From January to April, the operating income of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 10.1% year-on-year.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released data, showing that from January to April, the operating income of the electronic information manufacturing industry with scale reached 5.12 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.1%; operating costs were 4.5 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%; the total profit was 159.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%; the operating income profit margin was 3.1%, an increase of 0.4 percentage points from the first quarter. In April, the operating income of the electronic information manufacturing industry with scale reached 1.34 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%. From January to April, the fixed asset investment in the electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 9% year-on-year, which was 1.5 percentage points lower than the first quarter, 2.7 percentage points lower than the investment growth rate of the same period in the industry, and 0.2 percentage points higher than the investment growth rate of the same period in the manufacturing industry.
