Xiaomi's assisted driving team welcomes a new general, the former CTO of First Automotive Works Nanjing, Chen Guang, joins.

According to multiple sources, former CTO of FAW Nanjing Research Institute, Chen Guang, has already joined Xiaomi's automotive division as the head of assisted driving perception, reporting to Xiaomi's head of assisted driving, Ye Hangjun. Xiaomi's previous head of assisted driving perception, Cai Rui, has moved to the robotics department. Before joining Xiaomi's automotive division, Chen Guang was the CTO of FAW Nanjing Research Institute, responsible for overall technical research and development and architecture design of autonomous driving business, leading the team to develop FAW Hongqi's third-generation L4 fully autonomous Robotaxi.
